I’m Danish and I first moved to the UK with my family in 1991. It was just supposed to be a two-year experience of living abroad. Six years later (1997) we finally moved back to Denmark. In 2006 we then moved back to the UK again.
I work for IBM, officially I am based at their Farnborough office. In practice I usually work either from home, from IBM’s London (South Bank) office, at Hursley (near Wimbledon) or at customer sites. Home for my family and I is in Finchampstead in Berkshire. My children are aged 19, 17, 10 and 4, so we are currently experiencing all aspects of the English education system from Junior School all the way up to University.
